The Inspiration for the Challenge
It's probably best that I share with you a defining moment that brought me to creating this 30 Day Journey to Self-Love Challenge.
If you've scrolled through social media lately, you may have noticed (like I have) that mental health is trending, but there’s a lack of solutions. A lack of structured action steps that can allow you to feel more ALIVE, at PEACE or even give HOPE for a better future.
How is someone supposed to feel better and make progress in this world of complex challenges with no plan or no support?
You have to practice the RIGHT self-care activities, surround yourself with positive people who SUPPORT you, and BE CONSISTENT. Lack of consistency is often the number one reason why we are only happy sometimes, depending on our mood.
This is what lead me to creating the 30 Day Journey to Self-Love Challenge.
I wanted to create actionable tasks to practice EVERYDAY even when you don't feel like it, which will move you toward all of your personal goals, and away from that feeling of self-disappointment.
The daily practice will give you steps to start thinking about and identifying what truly makes you happy.
It shows you how to prioritize those big activities that make you feel good like exercise, healthy eating, and resting. It will also help with the small but difficult actions like sometimes saying no in order to protect your energy or your schedule.
I created a space focused on achievable goals that build confidence and a sense of accomplishment.
This challenge is composed of 30 daily videos, a workbook, and action items designed to uplift and support you (ESPECIALLY if you are struggling on your own).

I enjoyed doing the challenges. Each day was focused on bettering myself. It gave me time to actually sit and think of myself which is something I don’t take time to do. I learned new things and ideas to make sure I’m nurturing my mind and acknowledging my need going forward. Also learned different mechanisms to keep positive and motivated through life. Putting things down on paper was really helpful for me. I also found out things about myself that I hadn’t realized prior. So I would say that doing the challenges was beneficial for me and I hope to keep it up. I would definitely recommend this if you are on a self care journey.

More than anything it was a reminder to prioritize myself, get back to self-care and an encouragement that i'm on the right path as i've been exposed to all of the prompts. The challenge is good for someone to get a jump start on their self-care routine, getting back to making themselves important rather than letting everyone else be more important.

I learned how to put me first and not feel guilty and understanding what truly makes me happy. I was able to identify changes I needed to make within and to learn how to sit with my emotions and process my findings.
